Suzi Briggs launched Bloomsbury Designs, a residential interior design firm, in October 1998. The firm is based in Beacon Hill, Boston. After working in London and Boston as a designer for Laura Ashley for 10 years, she was encouraged by clients to set up her own design firm. Suzi combines a European sensibility and innovative design flair with a strong appreciation of color and fine furnishings. She has been successfully providing clients a full interior design service over the last 5 years. Bloomsbury Designs endeavors to find the balance of functionality, individualism and elegance with enduring style and comfort.

Suzi Briggs is from London and was trained in Textile Design. She has a strong artistic and academic background. Visiting London often, she is able to source antiques and other decorative objects for clients homes on these trips.

The name of the company was inspired by the "Bloomsbury Set", a group of artists and writers living in London 1910 to 1950. Duncan Grant, Vanessa Bell and Virginia Woolf were some of the key players and Bloomsbury was the area in central London that they lived. The interior decoration of their homes reflected their own artistic pursuits - textile design, ceramics and painting.

Suzi Briggs' work has been seen in many Showhouses and featured in publications in Boston. Also, her worked has been shown on This Old House" on W.G.B.H. and a special features on Master Bedrooms for the Homes and Gardens Network TV (H.G.T.V.).
